SuperGrok Heavy ($300) vs Ultra on The X Subscription ($200): what is verified about switching (unofficial guide)
Ultra on The X Subscription is $200/month with Grok Bot on the shared weekly pool (x.ai/pricing). Legacy SuperGrok Heavy is still named in Cursor's plans help as the highest linked usage tier; its dollar price is not on the public x.ai/pricing table we opened — third-party trackers often cite $300. Unification is permanent (docs.x.ai).
People on r/GrokBot call The X Subscription the "unified" or "new bundle" plan. Officially, new self-serve buyers choose Free/Plus/Premium/Super/Ultra — Ultra is $200/month. Legacy SuperGrok Heavy is named in Cursor's Grok Bot plans help as the highest linked usage tier; third-party plan trackers list Heavy at $300/month and no longer sold to new customers. Here is what official pages confirm, what they don't, and how to decide without guessing usage math.

The short answer
Verified on x.ai/pricing (Nov 4, 2026): The X Subscription Ultra is $200/month with 50x the usage of Plus, and it includes Grok Bot on the shared weekly pool with Grok and Cursor.
Verified on cursor.com/help/grok-bot/plans: individual SuperGrok Heavy can be linked for Grok Bot usage and is listed as the highest linked usage tier (same tier language as legacy Cursor Ultra). SuperGrok Lite does not include Grok Bot.
Verified on docs.x.ai: switching to The X Subscription is optional; a completed unification is permanent; old Cursor/Grok subscriptions on combined accounts are cancelled at checkout with prorated refund rules; after switching, Grok Bot usage comes from the new shared weekly pool.
Not verified on an official xAI price table we could open today: SuperGrok Heavy's dollar price. Reputable third-party plan trackers (for example TokenPlans' Oct 31, 2026 note) list Heavy at $300/month and say new customers are steered to The X Subscription only. Treat $300 as reported/legacy catalog, and confirm on your own billing screen before you decide.
There is no official product named "Unified $200 plan." Ultra ($200) is the top self-serve X Subscription tier people mean when they say they moved to the unified bundle.
Side-by-side (sourced)
Heavy (legacy / linked): named in Cursor's plans help. Highest linked Grok Bot usage among SuperGrok links. Still referenced for existing customers and Grok Business seats that carry a Heavy license. Dollar price: confirm on your invoice; third-party trackers say $300/mo and not sold to new buyers.
Ultra (The X Subscription): $200/mo per x.ai/pricing. Includes Grok Bot, Cursor, and Grok on one shared weekly pool (50x Plus usage). One bill when you unify eligible accounts.
Usage conversion: xAI does not publish a Heavy-units-to-Ultra-units calculator. Docs describe new tiers as multiples of Plus and say switching moves you onto the shared pool. Reddit threads include both "I downgraded $300→$200 and noticed no loss" and "I'm staying on Heavy because Bot room feels larger" — those are user reports, not measurements we can verify.
How to decide without guessing
Export or screenshot two to four weeks of your real Usage breakdown before you touch unify.
If you barely use Cursor or Grok Chat, remember Ultra's pool is shared — coding and Imagine video draw from the same bucket as Bot.
If you are still on separate legacy bills, add them up and compare to Ultra $200 (or Super $100 / Premium $30 if your Bot load is light).
Run the Usage Saver pass first. Cutting hourly routines often matters more than the plan label.
If you unify, cancel App Store / Google Play duplicates per the docs. Unification cannot be undone.
What we could not verify
An official public page stating "SuperGrok Heavy costs $300/month" at the time of writing (billing screens for existing subscribers may still show it).
Exact weekly Bot token or dollar equivalence between Heavy and Ultra.
Whether Heavy remains purchaseable in any region or only grandfathered — Cursor and xAI docs still describe linking Heavy; TokenPlans reports new-sale discontinuation as of late October 2026.
What you need
- Your current plan name on the Grok Bot plan screen or grok.com/dashboard
- Two or more weeks of Usage history if you can get it
- Willingness to treat unification as permanent
Steps
- Write down your current plan names and monthly charges from the official billing UI (not from memory).
- Note Grok Bot weekly percent used and what products dominate the breakdown.
- Compare against x.ai/pricing for Premium/Super/Ultra.
- If you are on Heavy, read docs.x.ai unification pages end to end before checkout.
- Only then unify — or stay put. Staying on a legacy plan is explicitly optional in the docs.

I'm deciding whether to stay on my legacy SuperGrok/Cursor setup or switch to The X Subscription Ultra. Here is my last two weeks of Usage: [paste]. Using only official pricing and docs, list what I gain, what I give up, and what you cannot know (exact Heavy-to-Ultra usage math). Do not push me to unify.
Tips
- "Unified" in forum posts usually means The X Subscription after account combine — not a separate SKU.
- Links don't stack with a Cursor plan: Grok Bot uses whichever grant is higher (Cursor help).
- If Bot is the only thing you care about, measure Bot-heavy weeks before trading a grandfathered Heavy invoice for a shared pool.
FAQ
Is there a $200 Unified plan?
Not under that official name. The X Subscription Ultra is $200/month. People often call the whole X Subscription the unified or new bundle plan.
Does SuperGrok Heavy still exist?
Cursor's Grok Bot plans help still lists linking SuperGrok Heavy for the highest linked usage. Whether new purchases are offered is a separate question — confirm on your billing page. Third-party trackers say new sales stopped.
Can I undo unification?
No. xAI's docs say a completed unification is permanent and Support can't undo it.
Is Heavy definitely $300?
We could not open an official public price card that still lists Heavy at $300 on Nov 4, 2026. Third-party trackers and community posts use $300; trust your own invoice.
Is this official?
No. Grok Use Cases is independent and unofficial, and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by xAI, Grok, X, or Cursor.
