Guides
Run a team of Grok Bots: roles, group chats, handoffs
Give each Bot one job. They work in parallel on one shared computer, message each other, share group chats, and hand tasks off.
What you need
- Two or more clearly different jobs (e.g. Researcher and Writer)
Steps
- Create one Bot per repeatable outcome and spell out its job and boundaries.
- Put related Bots in a group chat.
- Pass work through shared files: the Researcher saves a brief, the Writer picks it up.
- Let Bots hand off ownership instead of routing everything through you.
- Share a Bot as a template link, or publish a Team Bot that everyone talks to.
Prompt to copy
Researcher: find this week's top five questions about [topic] and save a brief. Then hand it to Writer to draft three posts for my review.
Tips
- Each Bot has its own screen and runs one computer-use task at a time.
- More Bots means more usage, so schedule them sparingly.
- Template links don't include your computer, logins, or history, but remove secrets from the Bot's setup before sharing.
FAQ
